WK 8: A Spot of Coffee?

Mary went over to a friend’s house and shared some time and coffee with a friend, even though her toddler had chicken pox.

Twas grand. And true friends don’t mind exposure to chicken pox. (Wink).

WK 7: Mary Tries to Babysit

Mission Accomplished

Mary did the weekend kindness late because of a lightning storm, but she was unable to watch children, and it was a good thing!

My youngest woke up feverish and dotted with chicken pox this morning. Would have hated to pass that along to a family with a newborn!

Shelli baked raisin bread for her family and a friend!

Mary shared her time with her family making caramel corn and an apple pie for her husband in celebration of all the work he does as the official “laborer” in her family.

WK 5: Those Who Sent Kindness

Shari went above and beyond the call of duty and sent three cards!

Mary sent one to a older woman that she has a mentoring relationship with.

Shelli set a card to an longtime friend.

WK 4: Reach Out and Touch Someone

Mission Accomplished:

Betsy at homegirls homeschool called her brother and sister-in-law having not been in touch for a while.

MInTheGap called a college friend that he’s been meaning to call for a while.

katkat at No Diet Coke for Mommy called a long time friend to try to reconnect after some life changes.

Shelli at Shelli’s Place called an Aunt that she had not talked to for a while, and enjoyed it!

WK3: Fun at the Grocery Store

Mission Accomplished:

Mary at Home-steeped Hope found a 2/3 year old child to surprise with a bag of M&MS– do I sense a pattern here?

Shelli at Shelli’s Place used her height to her advantage and gave some useful tips for women in the store helping men.
