@Rachel: Well, you’re also at another disadvantage– you see her more than she sees her dad. It’s easier to be consistent over shorter periods of time, and the fact that she looks forward to the time that she just has dad means that she will probably learn easier from him as well.

It’s so true about little girls learning faster with their daddies. I can work all day with her to learn something new; she’ll learn it in an hour with him.

This makes me really thankful for my hubby. He’s an amazing Daddy and I know my little sweetie feels incredibly secure in his love. He amazes me how, with his busy school and work schedule, he still makes her a top priority. He’s such a good daddy.

Absolutely.

Hubs said yesterday that he thinks he got the short end of the stick by marrying me – ’cause I got to watch a perfect example of a husband in my father and now my hubs has to live up to that. He says it’s not an easy thing to do. I’m one lucky gal, I guess. :)
