I think I've preached in 3 or 4 different venues. When my uncle travels for seminars & counseling schools, he asks my hubby to fill in in the pulpit. My hubby's grandfather is a pastor up in the Baton Rouge area and usually asks my hubby to preach 2-3 times a year there. Also any time we go home to the church we were in before we moved, the pastor there usually asks him to preach that Sunday. We do need time away from the kiddos. We're actually getting a night away this weekend. We have to go over to the Mississippi Gulf Coast on Saturday so I can train some church workers on a financial records program, and then my hubby is preaching there the next morning. The pastor offered to put us up in a hotel for one night - how could we refuse?
