There?s something about a woman in white.  I can?t quite place my finger on what it is. 

Part of it is the clean look?the pure white dress looks clean, bright and brilliant.

Part of it is the symbolism?the purity that white symbolizes.  Knowing that the one to who you are going to pledge your life to has waited for you.

Part of it is the way that white Wedding Dresses accentuate the woman?s form and figure.  And the way that a formal dress fits a woman?and knowing that she?s your woman?well, it?s enough to bring joy to any man?s heart.

It?s true what they say.  When the bride is coming down the aisle, turn around and look at the husband-to-be.  The look on his face, the look at his bride, is amazing.

Last Monday marked the seventh year my wife and I have been married, and on that day one of my coworkers and I had an interesting conversation.  He said that he believed that seven was a big year inasmuch as it would indicate how well a marriage could survive.

Then he said that it was only seven years that he and the mother of his children were able to stay together.

The statistics for divorce are incredible?and very sad.  What?s more, it says something about the way that we approach commitments and, in turn, the way that our children will approach commitments.
