@Carol: I cannot disagree-- she certainly had an poor reaction to what happened, and yet I have a hard time condemning her because of the situation she finds herself. I cannot imagine the emotions of going through the kind of submission that she claims she was trying (to some degree she went too far in my opinion, to where she made herself a doormat) and to be stabbed in the back because of the submission-- it's too much for me to comprehend.

So, yes, pray for the family to repair their marriage, and that things will go right, but keep in mind the heartache-- we must show compassion, even in the face of what others do that is wrong.

I agree that we should pray for this poor soul, BUT, I will pray that she seeks forgiveness. That fact that she beat someone until they bled and refered to a person as an "amputee" as though to degrade them is not what you do as a Christian!
There is no doubt that the husband and the other woman are at fault for commiting adultery, and will pay the price for that sin, but to build your whole life around some one that cheats on you is just plain silly. Better that we NOT turn over our whole self to anyone or thing other than God, who is the only one who will NEVER let us down. I feel for this young girl and her children, but from reading only her "shutting down" post it would seem that she would do all in her power to keep her marriage together. The husband hid his true self or this would not have happened, and Ashley has discovered that life is indeed hard. I will pray that they can work things out in someway as to not punish the children and to mend both of their broken vows and hearts.
