I think that you'll find that, throughout Scripture, if God called someone to do something they were blessed when they obeyed, and someone else was chosen if they did not-- and they received the blessing. It's so true - I was thinking this weekend about a friend who hasn't been able to feel Jesus' love lately. I realized that it's because it's been <em>my</em> job to show His love to her.
