But we weren't too wise when it came to what to spend our time on. Here's where having Cable can be a bad thing. Speaking of funny things to do on your honeymoon, one of my friends actually went out at caught a baseball came on their wedding night-- or at least a part of one. It means SO much to me when my dh shows interest or goes out of his way to make sure I get to do something important to me. Like stopping at Barnes and Noble when he really isn't into books at all...and he's so nice, he watches the kids in the children's nook while I browse and browse. It would be like me killing time at a western store while he spends all day looking at the different bits for horse bridles. (Which he did on our honeymoon at PFI!) ;) That was an eye opener to what he found fascinating! Lol. I really like the idea of trying to find something you like to do together...something new. We go through phases. I was reading Mom's Needs / Dad's Needs and one of the things that has stuck with me is antithetical to the current "you must have your own space mentality", namely: you need to find times to do things together, and spend as much time together as possible. This may mean finding new sports that you both like to do, or doing something that your spouse likes to do and you do not.
