That’s the funny thing, Claudia: He can’t tell me. He knows I’m not meeting his needs, but I’ve asked him how I can start to do so and he doesn’t know what to tell me. :(

AG, there are probably lots of things you do daily that you don’t even realize are acts of service. If you want to come up with what means the most to your husband, why not ask him? Ask him to tell you what things you do for him mean the most to him. He’ll be glad you asked, and you can keep giving him more of what he likes most and come up with other ideas based on what he’s told you.

That’s my hubby’s love language too. It’s very difficult for me and I imagine that each man would have different things he would respond to, but here are some of the things that help my husband feel loved.

Having his laundry washed and ironed and ready to go.
Having the house picked up and neat for him.
Keeping his desk cleaned off from the children and my clutter.
Taking care of the belongings he has worked hard to pay for.
Having dinner ready when he wants it.

Just a few things that help him feel loved.
