No offence but I can't stand Dr. Pepper. No matter, your point is totally taken. The littlest things are the most special, I think.

So, here's a questions, ladies and gents. I love to give and receive gifts, so the little things like picking up a single rose on the way home mean a lot to me. Hubby's not like that - he enjoys acts of service. So he feels affirmed and loved when I deep clean the house, cook a wonderful meal, etc. Those are all big, exhausting things, and I have a hard time keeping up on everything to the point where he feels I value him. What are some little things for an acts of service-oriented guy that I could do? Thanks!

Little things mean so much. It shows us that our spouse or loved one is thinking of us on "regular" days, not just holidays or special events.

The little things ARE the big things...and it can be both bad little things and good little things! ;O) How is that for a tongue-twister!?When I used to drink coffee, my dh would surprise me sometimes by picking up my favorite treat, a cannister of GFIC orange cappuccino...mmm...he was my hero for life, b/c I always felt guilting including it in our grocery budget, and also for being so "addicted"...yet he fed my addictions and loved doing it! Great post! I'm sure VB loves that you're easy to please, and can appreciate even the simple things.

I think this one goes both ways-- you both have to do the little things, and see the little things.

nothing like a glass of Dr. Pepper to say I love you, or coke in my case. It is so true what you are saying. It is in the little things that it shows that you are thinking of the other person.
