We'd always do Christmas Day at my parent's house. The past couple years things have changed a bit with more family additions. THIS year we'll spend the weekend before Christmas with SR family, Christmas Eve and Day just the 4 of us and the day after until almost New Years with my parents/brother's family. It'll seem weird not being at my parent's house for Christmas Day, but I guess that's all part of "growing" up. Usually Christmas Eve and Day are spent with my extended family. When our first child was born, though, we decided that Christmas would be the one holiday we spend at home. Over the years we've invited each side of the family to spend the day with us a couple of times, but most years it's just our immediate family. I really like it that way. It's less overwhelming, and I feel like we actually get to enjoy each other and enjoy the day. We used to spend Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas Day with my husband’s family.
