Leslie posted 25 things that Popular Mechanics thinks that every man should know. I think that I’ll take up the challenge, and anyone here wishing to state what their husband or they can do, feel free to chime in with a post of your own.
And now, what can MInTheGap do?
- Patch a radiator hose — Do you use duct tape?
- Protect your computer – Check
- Rescue a boater who has capsized – No way, don’t swim
- Frame a wall – If you’d said patch a wall…
- Retouch digital photos — Check
- Back up a trailer — Nope
- Build a campfire — Do I get lighter fluid?
- Fix a dead outlet – Nope
- Navigate with a map and compass — Check
- Use a torque wrench — Umm… If I knew what one was?
- Sharpen a knife — Sure
- Perform CPR – Check
- Fillet a fish – No way, nor do I wish to
- Maneuver a car out of a skid – I like to make the car skid to see how slippery it is!
- Get a car unstuck – Most of the time
- Back up data – Check
- Paint a room – Check
- Mix concrete – Check
- Clean a bolt-action rifle – Nope
- Change oil and filter – Nope (Have watched dad do it)
- Hook up an HDTV – I’m sure I could, but no.
- Bleed brakes – Nope
- Paddle a canoe – Nope
- Fix a bike flat – Does that include with the gunk you squirt into the tire?
- Extend your wireless network – Check
