You know, we had a sick bout right after we'd committed to the no TV procedure, and thankfully, we'd just gone to the library and were stocked up with great books. Also, my mom's aunt had given us a stack of coloring books and new colors/markers. Toddler had never colored so much in her life. And even though she was half-sick (no fever) she didn't ask for movies or TV.

I'd certainly never fault any parent for putting in a video for their sick child. Anything to distract them from their misery. Glad yours are feeling better, or at least, I assume they are by now!
